GREAT BLUE HERON

I have enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron in all of its nature.  It was a thrill to watch this magnificent bird gracefully fly into a tree or shrub and balance itself on top of a limb.  It builds a huge nest high up in a tree using spanish moss and twigs.  It flys in and tends to its babies with a regurgitated lunch! Yum!
